Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) Towards COVID-19 Among General Population of South Khorasan Province, Iran: A Quick Online Cross-sectional Survey

Background: COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease and pandemic. Knowledge, attitude, practice of people about this can play an essential role in better accepting executive actions set by health officials national planners. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the level knowledge, general population South Khorasan province influencing factors. Methods: cross-sectional was performed online on 699 living Khorasan, Iran. The participants were chosen convenience sampling technique. research tool adapted questionnaire from researchers that included demographic characteristics, 15 questions awareness, 12 seven practice. Data analyzed using independent t test, one-way analysis variance, Pearson correlation coefficient. Results: levels 73.13, 80, 84.85%, respectively. most common symptoms shortness breath, dry cough, fever or headache, sequence. More than half (56.90%) felt at risk for contracting disease. Most washed their hands (80%) used facemask (79.60%). between awareness 0.60. Older, divorced, low-educated had lower knowledge Conclusions: Despite good regarding study, continuous informing through television, radio, social media needed maintaining status quo.
